Join us this Saturday in singing for a Sung Tridentine Latin Mass and hear for the last time this year the famous sequence Victimæ pascali. Chorus Breviarii San Diego will sing the ordinary (Mass I) and the full Gregorian proper from the Liber Usualis. 

NOTE:

We also remind you that we continue to sing Vespers in Gregorian chant every Sunday at 15:00 (3 P.M.) at Our Lady of the Rosary in Little Italy (1668 State St, San Diego, CA 92101). Access to the church is from the side door through the courtyard (south door).

TENEBRÆ of Good Friday

Tenebrae consists of the sung offices of Matins and Lauds on each of the three days of the Sacred Triduum. The Psalms and Antiphons will be sung in Gregorian chant, while the Responsories will be sung in the harmonized Tonus Chorus Breviarii. Our thanks to the clergy for allowing us to introduce this ancient practice to their flocks: in particular Fr. James Bahash, pastor of St. John's in Encinitas, Fr. John Lyons, F.S.S.P, pastor of St. Anne,  Fr. Jesus Valenzuela, F.S.S.P., parochial vicar at St. Anne, Fr. Gerardo Fernandez, pastor of Mission San Antonio de Pala, and Fr. Peter Adrian Miller,  O. Praem, chaplain of TLM North County. For those who may be occupied with work during the day, Good Friday Tenebrae at St. Anne will finish around 7:15 in the morning. Blessed Triduum to all.

Access to the Church During Sunday Vespers

As we remind our friends and benefactors that Vespers in Gregorian chant will be sung (as on every Sunday) tomorrow, Sunday January 4, at 15:00 (3 P.M.) at Our Lady of the Rosary in Little Italy (1668 State St, San Diego, CA 92101), we wish also to inform that access to the church will be from the side door through the courtyard (south door).
